Vishwaroop Darshan of Lord Krishna

Vishwaroop is also known as Vishwaroop Darshan is a universal form of Lord Krishna. In this supreme form, the whole universe is contained. Lord Krishna comes to this form to appease Arjuna in the Mahabharata. In chapters 10 and 11, there is a description that Krishna reveals himself in the Vishwaroop and also in the creator of the world as “ Vishwaroop Brahma ”. All the creatures of the universe are part of this supreme form of Vishnu or Lord Krishna. Brahmand or infinite universe lies in the Vishwaroop and this roop of Lord Krishna has innumerable forms, faces, mouths, eyes, and arms. After getting encouragement from the Vishwaroop Darshan, Arjuna continued the Mahabharata war.

Make the low-pitched humming sound behind your throat. You will feel awareness at the center of your head i.e. Ajna Chakra.

Know the difference between Khuda and Allah

Allah is an Arabic word and the meaning of this is “The One God”. Muslims believe in one God and conclude that everything is created by one supreme power. In Islam, Allah word is related to this supreme power. The Khuda is the same thing but is a Persian word and also used for god in the Urdu language . Both words Allah and Khuda have the same meanings but have different origins. People use the “ Khuda ” word in different languages and many South Asian Muslims use this word. As this word is originated in Pre-Islamic so most of the people use only the “Allah” word for God in Islam.

Shivalingam: The Symbol of Lord Shiva in Hinduism

Shivalingam has three parts; the lowest is Brahma-Pitha, the middle one is Vishnu-Pitha, and then the uppermost is called the Shiva-Pitha. The Shiva Linga is carved from the stone. This Linga can be very large and also can be very small, below to the knee-height.                                                         In Hinduism, it is believed that Shivalinga can help us in going beyond consciousness. The most sacred Lingas are Jyotirlingas.  Jyoti means “Light” and Linga means “Mark” and hence Jyotirlinga defines “Radiant Sign of Lord Shiva”.  All these make Lord Shiva “ Mahadeva ” which means Great God. Devotees also use the term “The Destroyer” for Lord Shiva. He is considered a member of the holy trinity along with Vishnu and Brahma.

Shabd Brahma: The Transcendental Sound of the Vedas

Shabd Brahma  is the sound vibration or transcendental sound of the Vedas. According to the spiritual Gurus, the word itself is the Brahma. The whole world is energized with the inspiration of the word. This word is manifested by the sound or  Naad . In Hinduism, there is a sound which is the root-consciousness of the Universe. This noise is also called as “ Nadabrahma ”.          Every Mantra and  Shabd  has its importance. The word “ Oum ” is considered the beginning of cosmic consciousness and power. The entire space is filled with sound and when you do Shabd Brahma then you will feel a cosmic sound within you which shows you are part of the Universe .

How to attain Moksha in Hinduism

Moksha is the state of soul where it liberates itself from the cycle of birth and death gets eternal bliss. The simplest way to achieve “ Nirvana ” is to silence the mind and to do focus on the self. You can use yoga or any other technique for obtaining Moksha.      In other words, you can say that it is the act of liberation which provides you freedom from all limitations. If you do all your activities by using common sense and wisdom, you would attract only positive things. Be as you are and accept that you have everything inside you and by following this, you will attain the Moksha.

What is Kundalini energy?

Kundalini is the energy that is coiled at the base of the spine. It is the ultimate life force or creative power or simply “inner fire”. When we activate this energy, it flows from the base of the spine then into the gut and later into the heart and the head. It is like a wavy shape of a serpent as shown in a picture below.      This is a Shakti which goes from bottom to top and activate each chakra. It is an amazing experience of spirituality. The more energy you get, the more you will feel cosmic consciousness.  In the case of the awakening of this energy, you will get a high sense of life and will reach the full potential of yourself.

Supreme Lord Adideva Sadashiva

Sadashiva is one of the forms of Lord Shiva which is considered the highest form. Sada is related to terms “always” and “forever” and Shiva means “auspicious”. In yoga, you can find Sadashiva in yourself. It remains inside the one’s core and even if someone is suffering, he can find eternal happiness deep inside. The Sadashiva has five faces that represent five senses and also have 10 arms. He is considered the processor of all three Gunas. People worship Sadashiva as the supreme lord, source, and destination of the entire creation. There is no beginning or source of lord Sadashiva and also considered as unborn.

Concept of “Myself within Myself” in Hinduism

“ Myself within myself ” or “Atman” means where a person looks inner-self instead of the outside world for seeking the truth. Yogis adopt this concept and do spiritual practice for knowing the meaning of life. In Hinduism, people find various ways to enlighten themselves. It is like to go beyond time or find eternal energy. Shakta or Shaktism focuses on Shakti or Devi. Here, people believe in the feminine aspect of supreme power. Shaiva   or Shaivism is the oldest Hindu sect and is related to the worship of Lord Shiva. All these sects like Shaivism, Shaktism, and Vaishnavism are different ways of devotions but have the same common reason which is the attainment of God. 

Brief Description of a Sampradaya Tradition

Sampradaya or a spiritual lineage is a tradition in Hinduism.   It is like a tree where a guru is its root and depending on the Deity, this system is divided into Vaishnava Sampradaya, Shaivite Sampradaya and Advaitha Vedantha Sampradaya.       Parampara involves passes on the teaching from a guru to his disciples. It is also called a Guru-Shishya tradition. The main thing is that each Parampara belongs to a specific Sampradaya. These traditions are a part of the Gurukul system of Ancient India. This Gurukul or Gurukula word comes from the Sanskrit words “Guru” (teacher) and “Kula” which means family or home. It follows the sacred relationship of Guru-Shishya.

What is Sanatan Dharma and how it’s different from Hinduism?

Sanatan Dharma  is the oldest religion on Earth and includes a collection of spiritual laws discovered by Rishis thousands of years ago. It includes many eternal duties such as honesty, purity non-violence, self-restraint, etc. which a human being should do to attain fulfillment in life. You also can say that Sanatan Dharma is a way of life.  Vedas  do not include the “ Hinduism ” term. Persians used this name to refer to the faith of people living beyond the Sindhu River.  Sanatan Dharma is the original name of Hinduism and is an eternal law that includes many practices like Yoga, Pranayama, Chanting of Vedic Verses , Slokas, etc.

Ujjayi Naad: Ancient Yogic Breathing Technique (Sound of Victory)

Ujjayi Breath is considered a Hinduism Ancient breathing which produces a specific sound known as the sound of victory. For this Pranayama, First, sit in a padmasana or Lotus position, which is a cross-legged sitting asana. Keep your back upright and close your eyes. In starting, you can open your mouth. Start breathing in and out. But, while exhaling, contract muscles of the back of your throat and it will make a sound like ‘HAAAH’. After some practice, do this while inhaling also. If you can produce sounds in both inhaling & exhaling then try only with your nose. This sound is also called “The Ocean’s Breath” because this Ujjayi Sound  is similar to ocean waves.              This breathing technique will make your mind calm and will also warm your body. After becoming a master of this technique, you will see positive changes to your body, mind, emotional & spiritual wellbeing.

Naad Brahm (The Sound Of Completeness)

Naad Brahm  is a state where you listen to a sound that comes inside of your body. This is a practice that needs proper guidance. This sound is a symbol of absolute, completeness and perfections. Even, in scriptures of Hinduism; music, and sound are integral parts. Spiritual leaders also use “ Mahamantra ” for this sound because of it like a mantra which creates a feeling accomplishment within you. The people who experienced the Naad Brahm shared their feelings and they felt the power of the universe within their body.  It is the main reason that some spiritual masters also use the term “ Sound of the Universe ” for Naad Brahm.
